How do we work?

Traficator functions as an extension of your purchasing department. We analyse your technical requirements, identify the most cost-effective production method through our network of qualified foundries and machining workshops, and manage the entire chain from tooling to serial delivery.

What does it cost to engage Traficator?

There are no costs during the initial evaluation phase. Costs are only incurred once approved outturn samples have been produced and delivered. This risk-free model lets you evaluate our capabilities before committing to series production.

Can I visit the production facilities?

Absolutely. We encourage transparency and gladly arrange supplier visits in Sweden and internationally. On-site audits allow you to verify quality systems, capacity and working conditions first-hand.

What materials and casting methods do you offer?

We source in grey iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, bronze and copper alloys. Methods include sand casting, die casting, investment casting (lost-wax), centrifugal casting and forging, plus CNC machining and surface treatment.

What are typical lead times?

Tooling and first samples typically take 6–12 weeks. Serial deliveries follow your production plan, usually with 4–8 weeks lead time.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Sand casting can be economical from 10 pieces. Die casting typically requires larger volumes. We evaluate each project individually.
